Description: Dean of Critical Care and Nursing
As part of the administrative staff of the College, the Dean provides leadership to faculty and staff, sets direction for College-wide programs in Critical Care and Nursing Administration. The Dean provides overall direction of program curricula and operations. The Dean provides leadership for assigned program(s) offered throughout the College in the best interest of students; and maintains the highest standards of integrity in accordance with the mission, values, and core themes of the College. The Dean of Nursing will lead, plan, initiate, and review the Nursing programs across the College. This includes oversight of the faculty in the division and any programmatic staff.

The Dean of Critical Care and Nursing performs academic and administrative leadership duties related to the day-to-day responsibility for the nursing programs and works with Health Related Professions. This person serves as the Director of Nursing over the Registered Nursing Programs, Practical Nursing Program, and Nursing Assistant Program located at West Campus.

Position type: Full-time

Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited institution with a major in Nursing; and
Three years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care; and
Two years’ full-time college-level teaching experience or administration over a nursing program leading to licensure; and
A current Arizona Registered Nurse license in good standing or a current multi-state Registered Nurse license in good standing or the ability to obtain an Arizona Registered Nurse license in good standing.


One year responsibility as a subject matter lead or chair or administrator over a health program leading to licensure
Doctoral Degree in any area with a Master’s in Nursing or Doctoral Degree in Nursing
