Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Munson Medical Center is looking for a manager for A3, our 30-bed acuity adaptable Coronary Care and Cardiac Interventional Unit.

The Manager, A3 Cardiology Unit will:
• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff in developing and implementing standards of nursing practice that meet the philosophy and goals of the hospital.
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate patient and staff data collection systems and processes to support the practice of nursing and delivery of patient care within the unit.
• Provide leadership in establishing a culture of safety.
• Direct and implement the plan for delivery of patient care on the unit.
• Work closely and positively with nursing leadership, staff nurses, other departments, and providers.
• Collaborates with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, and other stakeholders.

Position type: Full-time

• A master’s degree in nursing, business administration, hospital administration or a related field is required. If the masters is non-nursing, the candidate must have a BSN.
• Minimum two years of __experience in an acute care setting and demonstrated administrative and supervisory ability.
• Registered Nursing License in Michigan.
• Comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice including the nursing process with clinical relevancy needed for the specialty area.
