The Administrative Director, Cardiovascular Services plans and directs the development, administration, and evaluation of the nursing clinical service budget (operating and capital) and is responsible for sound fiscal management. You will assure that areas of responsibility are staffed, patient/family education is documented in the Medical Record, and staff receives proper orientation. You will also interview and supervise all personnel and confer with VP, Patient Care Services/CNO prior to final decisions on new hires, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.

Other duties include developing and implementing procedures to meet all regulatory body standards, with a review every three years of policies/standards of care and guidelines, assuring current licensure for RNs/LPNs and current listing cards for NAs, and using comparative reports to obtain 90th percentile status in quality, staffing, customer relations, and financial areas. You will also assure the development/implementation/evaluation of quality, risk management, and customer relations programs in conjunction with the service line.

Position type: Full-time

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Must be a graduate of an approved RN school of nursing with a current RN license in NC or RN multi-state licensure privilege through the NLC
• Certification in Nursing Administration preferred
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, including critical care experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a Clinical Director or equivalent management experience
