Description: ECMO Coordinator
The University of Tennessee Medical Center Knoxville is currently seeking qualified applicants who are interested in becoming an integral part of our progressive Heart Lung Vascular Institute’s Mechanical Circulatory Support Program.
The ECMO Coordinator would be responsible for planning, implementing, supervising and evaluating day-to-day operations of the Mechanical Circulatory Support program in the critical care setting with a focus on maintaining the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) program in accordance with accreditation requirements as defined by the ELSO. Works in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-going clinical education and competencies of the ECMO team. Works with the Heart Lung Vascular Institute Data Management team to complete the registry requirements.

Position type: Full-time

Qualifications: BSN or other related clinical bachelor's degree

Masters preferred, but will consider related clinical experience (may be required to obtain Masters)

Prefer current or previous experience as an ECMO or VAD Coordinator

Will consider applicants with relevant and robust clinical experience in a high volume ECMO center

Appropriate and unencumbered clinical license in Tennessee , or willing to obtain
