ABOUT THIS ROLE

At CMS, Nurses review, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and quality of services delivered by Medicare and Medicaid providers and this position is located in CMS', Consortium for Medicare Health Plan Operations, Health Plans Branch, Philadelphia PA.

As a Nurse, you will be focusing in the areas of clinical quality improvement programs; utilization management and clinical standards that impact health service delivery.

We are seeking the following specialized skills for this critical role:

(1) Assisting with researching policies regarding clinical aspects of program operations;

(2) assisting with developing and presenting findings and recommendations to management; and

(3) interacting with internal and external stakeholders to provide clinical nursing advice or guidance.
