If you want to work with teams of dedicated, diverse interdisciplinary clinical professionals, look no further than our two fast-paced, 32 bed units. In both units you will exercise a broad set of critical care skills preparing you for the ICU, ED, Cath Lab, Advanced Practice or IR if that’s where you want to go. Rounding three times a day, leadership ensures you have everything you need to be successful.

In the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit, you will work with a variety of patients, including:

• Acute and Chronic Heart Failure
• Cardiac Arrythmias
• Bedside Cardioversion
• Care of the patient Post Watchman and Cardiac Catheterization procedure
• Patients requiring intense respiratory support to include CPAP, BiPAP, and Hi-flow Oxygen
• Hypertensive Crisis

In the Intermediate Care Unit, your patients and procedures include:

• Postop after open heart surgery
• Thoracic Surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Complex Abdominal Surgery
• DKA/Insulin Drips
• Watchman
• Trach/vent
