Description: NPD Practitioner – Critical Care
Be inspired to give your all – every day – and join the talented, Magnet® designated nursing team at Reading Hospital. Join our Tower Select Team, which provides staffing resources to identified units. The NPD Practitioner facilitates the professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum from novice to expert. You will act in the role of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry, partner for practice transitions, and advocate for the NPD specialty. The NPD Practitioner continuously assesses the practice environment to identify practice gaps and forecast potential learning needs; identifies desired outcomes of the educational plan; and ensures that educational plans are developed, implemented, and facilitated.

Position type: Full-time

Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with an MSN degree
• RN licensure within the State of Pennsylvania
• BLS certification
• Specialty certification in respective area of clinical practice
• Four to five years of clinical nursing experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency
