Description: ICU Registered Nurse
Serving the Southern Chester County area with trusted, quality care, Jennersville Hospital is a preferred community healthcare provider known for compassion and medical excellence.

The ICU RN evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care, and assists physicians during examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities include performing various patient tests and administering medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse and promoting patients' independence by establishing patient-care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This Per Diem position rotates through all shifts (Day/Evening/Night) and is scheduled for 24 hours per week.

Position type: Contract

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
Certified as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
BLS and ACLS within 60 days of hire
Critical care experience preferred
