Description: Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU - UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE
Join the nursing team in our mission to serve the West Texas region in the best teaching hospital in the country. UMC Health System is seeking an RN – Cardiovascular ICU to work full-time nights (7pm-7am) providing professional nursing care to patients and supervising and guiding members of the nursing staff.

Our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit has 24 beds and is a team-oriented unit that provides high-quality care to a variety of cardiac patients, including: post open- heart surgery, post-percutaneous coronary intervention, congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction and cardiogenic shock.

The CV/CICU also cares for patients requiring an intra-aortic balloon pump, continuous renal replacement therapy, ventricular-assist device or ECMO. Our nurses are valuable team members and help develop a culture of inclusion and respect. Our unit is fast-paced, and you’ll find great people working together with other professional interdisciplinary teams.

Position type: Full-time

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
Valid Texas RN license/eligible compact license
CVICU or ICU experience preferred
Current CPR certification from the AHA
