The team comes together to cultivate innovations that positively impact care delivery and promote the highest level of health and well-being, spanning all settings and adult ages. The Center has four primary areas of research and scholarship: Critical and Complex Care, Healthy Aging, Self-Management and Health Promotion, and Vulnerable Populations. OSU College of Nursing is a member of the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence.

Description: Director, Center on Healthy Aging, Self-Management and Complex Care
The Director encourages and involves Center faculty in the development, implementation and evaluation of Center goals. The Director maintains and cultivates new partnerships with local, regional and national leaders in the Centerís foci. He/she has supervisory responsibility for tenure track Center faculty and plays an integral role in mentoring junior and mid-level faculty. In collaboration with the Associate Dean of Research and Program Director of the PhD Program, the Director will participate in activities to assist in recruiting faculty, post-doctoral fellows and pre-doctoral students. The Director will work closely with the Collegeís Executive Leadership Team to develop, implement and evaluate College of Nursing initiatives.

The Director will maintain his/her scholarly work and program of research funding (preferably from NIH), teach in doctoral courses as appropriate, and advise graduate students in his/her area of specialty.

Position type: Full-time

Qualifications: A PhD in nursing or related health sciences field is required with qualifications to meet the rank of full professor along with a track record of sustained research funding (preferably from NIH).
