We are looking for someone with the desire to focus on delivering extraordinary patient care in an innovative environment. UCHealth Virtual ICU nurses use their critical care skills and advanced knowledge base to monitor ICU patient populations from a remote monitoring center using the most recent innovations in critical care telemedicine. We utilize several data streams to identify and interpret trends and acute changes in patient physiology, monitor compliance of care bundles and protocols, and to collaborate with the bedside multidisciplinary health care team using effective communication and clinical decision making skills. The goal is to identify adverse trends or acute changes and to intervene before the adverse trends or acute changes become adverse outcomes.

Job duties
Complete virtual rounds on patients including camera rounds, interpretation of most recent data, scoring trends, and electronic health record per protocol.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team using effective communication and clinical decisional making skills. Respond to requests for assistance from the bedside.Respond to sepsis alerts and monitor for sepsis bundle compliance.

State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
6 months nursing experience.
Graduate of an accredited Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years of experience.
BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. All life support certification cards must be issued by either the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer. (American Red Cross for the Professional Rescuer is only good upon hire and all renewals will need to be through an American Heart Association sanctioned course.) ACLS

Bachelor's degree in nursing
2-4 years of ICU RN experience strongly preferred
