Description: Nurse Manager - Med/Surg/ICU
We are looking for a skilled experienced Med/Surg/ICU Nurse Manager to join our successful operation. Bring your exceptional leadership skills to a team of 90 wherein you will be instrumental in assisting us in our journey to build upon the great care we provide our patients. The qualified individual will possess at least three to five years of experience in critical care and med/surg with a minimum of three years at the manager level. In this role, you will have the opportunity to bring your employee engagement, change management and process improvement skills to the operation. We are seeking a true change agent hands on leader who has a passion for staff development and patient satisfaction.

Position type: Full-time

• Responsible for the operations, personnel and financial management of department(s).
• Supports the director in achieving optimum performance by ensuring continuity and quality of service and care through the management of overall day-to-day operations.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or progressive nursing/management experience
• Desired: Master’s degree in Nursing/Business or equivalent
• Ability to influence, motivate, manage, train, direct, counsel and develop staff; communication and positive employee relation skills; knowledge of regulatory standards for compliance
• Minimum: Three (3) years previous job related experience.
• Desired: Five (5) years previous job related experience with supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR; Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
