Seattle University College of Nursing invites applications for faculty for tenure-track (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) or non-tenure-track (Instructor, Assistant Clinical, Associate Clinical, Full Clinical Professor) to teach in the BSN and DNP programs to begin September 1, 2018. Position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

We seek outstanding educators and scholars with clinical expertise in one of the following areas: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing; Family Nurse Practitioner; Adult/Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner; and Medical-Surgical Nursing. Applicants with advanced practice certification will have opportunities to contribute to preparation of nurse practitioners.

Tenure track faculty responsibilities include teaching, research/scholarship, and service commensurate with rank. Clinical professorial track faculty responsibilities include teaching, clinical scholarship, and service. Instructor responsibilities include teaching and service.

Required: A research or clinical doctorate is required for all tenure-eligible and/or clinical assistant, associate, or professor positions. A Master’s degree in nursing is required for appointment as an Instructor. Applicants must be eligible for Washington State licensure as a registered nurse.
