Dartmouth-Hitchcock (D-H) is seeking a Clinical Nurse to join our Adult Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), located at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. The MICU is a part of a large, close-knit team supported by an interdisciplinary group of professionals. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, providing and evaluating nursing care utilizing the nursing process. There is room for clinical advancement within the MICU through gained experience and clinical competencies that allow you to provide care to some of the sickest patients, including those receiving extracorporeal membrane oxygenation therapy and continuous renal replacement therapy. This unit has 20 state-of-the-art beds for critically ill medical patients. In the MICU, you will find a dedicated, engaged team who consistently go above and beyond to provide the highest quality care to their patients.

This is a full-time position which requires a maximum 50% day/night rotation with every other weekend and every other holiday. We utilize a self-scheduling model after completion of a comprehensive orientation.

To be considered, candidates must be graduates from an accredited Nursing Program. For newly graduated/licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required. All Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses must have two years of experience. One year of current acute hospital care experience is required. In addition, candidates must be licensed or be eligible for licensure in the state if New Hampshire.
