In this role, you supervise the implementation, delivery, and evaluation/improvement of quality patient care/nursing operations and services that add value and are integrated with nursing standards of practice, service priorities, and performance/outcome measures, as well as with departmental, business, and organizational goals/objectives.

Position type: Full-time & Part-time

Qualifications: Qualifications include:
• At least three years of clinical nursing experience relevant to the ICU including one year of leadership experience
• A BSN or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required or completion of a relevant bachelor’s degree within two years of hire; a master’s degree is preferred
• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• A current California RN license
• A current BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality improvement and clinical care delivery processes, staffing, and budgeting
• Knowledge of the Nursing Practice Act, JCAHO, and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work every third weekend
• The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
